Adoption.....Not for the Weak Willed
I don't know how to write the latest update without sounding blunt and without a touch of dispair in my words. Our adoption agency has sent an update that they will not be able to submit our dossier to the Consulate until the end of August or later. What exactly do you do with that announcement? I truly feel like I have been knocked down. I am exhausted. That is how I feel right now and I cannot help it. Chris and I feel like we have some decisions to make and we will most definitely keep everyone posted on what our next step is. We know that the ultimate decision lies with God and that He makes everything happen for a reason. Baby Adler is out there and she needs a mom and dad.

Hi Jessica and Chris. Thanks for the nice comment on my blog, I can't wait to read yours. So sorry to hear about the setback, you just never know, right? I thought I was going to be stuck at the NY embassy but ended up moving along. I'll cross my fingers for you! Lisa

Hi! What in the world?? What was this announcement and is there ever a reason that's being given (even if it's not the real reason?) I heard little bits of this, but didn't know what the whole announcement was! I know there is a reason for all this, but sometimes I wish God would fill us in a little more so it wasn't so hard to wait and understand... I hope you have a Happy 4th of July!
