This is all Chris is taking for 8 weeks, clothes wise that is. I must say he is quite proud :) We have three bags total: Hiking backpack, rolling duffel, and rolling suitcase. And of course our carry on's. Almost forgot, and a stroller. Not sure I could have done it with less. We will be paying in Kazakhstan but hopefully that is the only place we will pay for extra weight.

Wow....I'm impressed with how little Chris packed. He would have hated to see my bag (I did pay in the US and Russia...the reality is that I overpacked and could have gotten away with less).

I am so very proud of you and I am not the least bit surprised that you can pack so light, or that you will be able to wash your clothes out in the sink at night and get them dry by morning! You have been meticulous about those things since you first started washing your little league uniforms. And i can't wait (but alas will have to) to be a grandmother to my first grandchildren!!! The mother that you have told "I love YOu" every single day of your life when you see or talk to her loves you more than life itself and you are my pride and joy!! And Jessica is the icing on the cake!! MOM
