Day 51 and 52

Our little girl gettin her hair done so that her brother can see how it's done.

It may seem like Aidan is grinning but it is more of a grimace. He screamed and was mortified to go into the Barber shop to get his hair done on Saturday.

We tried again on Sunday for Aidan to get his hair cut. This time it was sucessful, minus the cloth around his neck and with a little coaxing of a new toy car.

And here is the final product!

A little playtime at the nearby park. They loved the moon walk.

I know this picture doesn't display it, but Adler really did love the bouncy!!

Today was an even better day as it was Jessica's Birthday!!! She turned the big 31 and we celebrated in some grand ole Kazakhstan fashion. We first headed for Aidan's haircut, followed by a local park where we ate a great lunch. We then got to experience the thrills of the rides with Adler and Aidan. Both were overly enthused about the chairs swings, and little car rides! No worries on the chair swing though, Jessica was able to ride twice...one with Aidan and once with Adler. Papa was too big (TOASTEE) to ride it. After the rides we had the kids caricature pictures done by a man sitting on one of the park benches. It cost $3.25 a piece...talk about a bargain. He even signed it with Kazakhstan on the bottom.
After a much needed nap, we went out to celebrate Jessica's Birthday! Did I mention she is 31??? We went to the Cosmonaut Hotel which has an outdoor eating area and is also a 4 star resort if any of you were wondering. We had an awesome meal with our children and also with our travel partners. Linda had bought a birthday cake for Jessica and she covertly snuck it all the way to the restaurant. What an awesome day and great way to celebrate another milestone in her life than to be with her two sweet children! We LOVE her and thank her so much for being one cool MAMA!!!

Jessica and Chris,
It looks like everyone is doing well. What beautiful childred. Everyone in Sunday School says hello. I forwarded your blog site to everyone. If I was supposed to do that when you first sent it to me I forgot. God bless and can't wait to get you and your family home.

Oh, so pitiful. I remember when Lilliana was that age and we went to get hair cuts. Once she learned the hair dresser had lollipops for after the event, she was always willing to go back. Now she wants her hair cut all the time. :)
We are praying for you guys and look forward to your return. When do you get to come home?
Lots of Love, The Hollands (Janie)
P.S. I guess you've heard DC finally got the Gobble's dossier through. Yeh!!
