Today we went to the baby house for one last visit. Aidan and Adler were both very scared. At first they didn’t want to go inside at all. Then Adler decided that she could muster up enough courage to go and say a final goodbye to our favorite caregiver. Aidan then of course agreed as soon as he saw his big sister going. Once we made it up to their group/room both of them started crying and saying: “nyet, nyet, nyet.” Both of the caregivers explained to them that they were just visiting and that they would be going home with mama and papa. You could see the relief in their faces but they still did not want to go all the way into their old room.
We ate one last time at our favorite restaurant “The Armenian” which is across the street from the baby house. It is the one thing I am going to miss food wise. We cooked hotdogs for the kids, note to those coming – you have to take the skins off after you cook them.

Oh how sweet!!!!! How awesome that must feel that they know you are mama and papa- and they don't want it any other way. Sounds like they are bonding wonderfully!!! Yeah!
wonderful pictures---mamma and pappa look thinner----all that walking and maybe a bit of upset stomach and/or kidney stone!!! At any rate, you all look wonderful and happy as a family---can't wait to see you, hear you, hug you, love you!! MOM
P.S.
The picture of Adler with the stick does remind me of one Angie Crutchfield---perhaps getting ready to poke a dog with that stick!!!
What precious pictures of this happy family.
They truly love you and know what life is with a mama and papa. You are theirs now! As they are yours!
Congrats! Aidan and Adler are just precious and, oh my, it made me almost cry to picture them not wanting to go back to visit... so unsure still... but yet it's a beautiful thing how they already know where they belong! Thanks again for letting us in on the journey.
Their hearts have found home. How wonderfully inspiring and precious! You all look so happy. what a blessing. Thank you for sharing this journey with all of us - even the difficulties. They all seem worth it. God Bless! Janie
