That “stuff” is blowing everywhere. I never thought I would wish it would rain but boy do I wish it would rain! It doesn’t appear that it is going to though. However, evidently burning it is the fastest way to get rid of it. It literally spreads like wild fire! That for sure would not be legal at home. We did manage to capture a picture of the fire fighters though just in case it got out of control. Just kidding – they were nowhere around when the man at the baby house was apparently doing his own “controlled burn.”
The children at the baby house are all getting moved around. I know it happens every so often but it is hard on everyone and sad to me. At least 6 moved to an orphanage, including three out of our children’s room. Then 4 were moved to the older group and 7 new children moved into our kids’ room. So that means that pretty much each group got new kids. A lot of adjusting to do.
Tomorrow is mine and Chris’ five year anniversary. Chris was laughing about how we always said that we did not want to start our family until we had been married for five years. Funny how God works things out isn’t it? Perfect timing.

Hi Jessica and Chris,
My how time seems to be flying, although for you it is probably "standing still". That's exactly how it feels when you birth a biological child as well. The only week in my entire life when "time seemed to stand still" was when our first child was born. It was glorious and at times difficult. Your beautiful children seem older than when you first arrived. Maybe its that their hair is growing out. Thank you for sharing it all with us. What an amazing adventure. The rest of the world just doesn't know what their missing :)
Blessings and prayers! Janie
Happy Anniversary tomorrow!!!! It doesn't seem like that long ago that we were all there to share your day....I bet it's npt that hot there right now!!! The children are so beautiful and I really do think that Adler reminds me of Jessica and Chris, except for the blue eyes, Adin reminds me so much of you when you were that age---blond hair and all!! Do they try to match up coloring, etc? Did you have to send your baby pictures???? I know that every day is so very specail to you and you will never forget this experience...God is good all the time....and I know He is with you now on your journey. I love you all very much and wish the best for all of you. Love, MOM
Happy Anniversary Crutchfields! What an amazing place and time to celebrate five years as husband and wife!
Happy Anniversary! So many memories of your wedding - you & Pops dancing in the rain, Wes losing his first tooth, Trista very pregnant with Evan, the look on Chris's dad's face during the ceremony... now on to new and no less special events!
We love you!

I guess the "controlled burns" are also another way to mow the grass. Don't you just love how they think!!
Happy Anniversary!
Happy Anniversary!! What an amazing way to spend it! Although, if you had told me 5 years ago that you would be in Kazakhstan adopting 2 babies, I don't think I would have been surprised. You two never cease to amaze me. Congratulations on the first half decade together...(just makes me wonder what you'll be doing in another 5?!!) Love you both.
Happy Anniversary - it's just as hot here today as it was 5 years ago - chance of a pop up shower also. I remember you guys saying you were'nt going to start your family for 5 years, and now what a way to start! Congratulations.
We check into your blog daily. Hard to believe you've been there for 4 weeks. Trip of a lifetime. Very cute kids too bad you can't take them all. We know how you feel seeing the same thing in Guat.
Love,
Tom & Christie
