Day 27 – A not so fun day for MAMA

Everyone learning the English words: SEE-SAW as we rock back and forth.
The absolutely, astonishing, FANTABULOUS Barbie cell phone! I had him call Mama and say: Where you at?

Almost forgot, we were productive today as I did manage to teach my children how to groom themselves and each other with a hairbrush. For those of you who know me, maybe Papa could learn something from them now :)

Jessica says: So today I stayed home from the baby house all day. Chris had to play Mr. Mom. Evidently I either ate something bad or picked up a stomach virus. It has been terrible. I will leave it at that and spare any details. I am hoping to feel better tomorrow, otherwise I will be here in the apartment again, lying in bed. I certainly don’t want anyone getting this if it is a virus, especially my children.
I think that Chris had a little bit of a difficult time “containing” our children. They tend to like to go their separate ways and usually that is not a problem if both of us are there. He said that both of them ended up crying and having fits at the same time. We could definitely use some back up from Grandma! Too bad she is thousands of miles away.

Chris says: Papa did ok for the first time with 2 youngins. The morning was a little more difficult as both Aidan and Adler have their own, unique, little personalities! They do like to play with each other but more often than not, they like to play independently (doesn't really work too well when there is only one of ya :) Lunch went ok and both ate a considerable amount of soup and their lunch before Adler wanted to go back and finish hers with the group. She continues to stay longer and finished over half of it today...YIPPEE!
The afternoon visit could not have been better. With a little coaxing from Papa, we were able to play together all afternoon. We played in the sand box, swung in the tires, walked a few laps around the babyhouse 500, and of course threw the ball around and talked on the BARBIE cell phone. Not a bad day for having Mama sick at home in the bed. It was a much better feeling that Papa was more in control this afternoon!

We also played with the bigger kids class. When Aidan wanted to See Saw, I had to flip it over so we could use it. Little did I know that the entire class wanted climb on and go for a spin. We all managed to fit and we all learned See-Saw, the words. We ended the day here and spent at least 20 minutes on it.

Yikes! Sorry you are sick!! I can honestly say I worry about stomach issues- considering I can't eat Olive Garden without getting the O.G. Revenge. Nuff said! I hope you are feeling better!

Sorry you were sick Jessica - but glad to see how Papa faired with the kids - of course we know what a good daddy he is - I know he had more fun than you.
