The Mama and the Papa
This bird was hurt and the kids were very interested in him. They love the birds and the kitty that is here at the baby house. We spend many hours chasing birds and looking for the kitty.
I wanted you all to see the beautiful hair do today! I loved it actually, it was really cute and she kept it in all day!We found out today that pre court is for sure on June 22nd and tentatively court will be June 24th. This is a big relief for us since we felt as though we were waiting “in the dark” with no word. So – Yipeeeee!!! This will be into week 5 of us being here but there are just things that you cannot control in international adoption so we are going with the flow and are extremely happy to have a date to look forward to.
Our children continue to be little sponges. They learn more and more English every day. Today, Adler grabbed Chris’ nose and said “nose”. She then poked his eye and said “eye” with no prompts what so ever. They continue to have brother and sister rivalry as today they fought over a magazine. You would have thought it was the best toy ever! After screaming at the top of their lungs Papa decided to put it away for good. Ok, so we have learned that hard way that when you get two of everything that you had better get two of the EXACT same thing – even if it has Barbie on it! We bought two play cell phones, one with Barbie and one with Spiderman. Both have the same features but Barbie is definitely the “cooler” phone in our children’s book. Not sure why.

The kids are flourshing so much with your love and devotion. It's not fun to have the EXACT same toy - what is there to fight over then? - That's part of the fun for kids! It helps keep parents wondering what to do next. Love Mom & Dad

You get to jump in from the start with sibling rivalry -fun, fun! We had to get two of the same thing for the boys for a while and they're 3 years apart - what's up w/ that?
I don't know about you, but the time seems to be going by pretty fast; love all the updates!
