Day 30/31

How can we leave those sad little faces every evening? It is so hard!

Saturday and Sunday were both warm again. So warm that we got to go outside with only underwear and hats! Not us but the kids :-) It cools down nicely at night so that we can sleep with just the windows open. Chris does have a fan on too. Even though our routine is the same it is still a little bit different “feel” at the baby house on the weekends, no doctors or head people are there so everyone is more laid back. Our children continue to bond with us. Everyday when we leave in the evening our children are very sad and will start to cry. They are used to us giving them baths and lunch time is getting easier. Aidan is more of a pickier eater but I think with time and a change of food he will come around.

It is great that they don't want you to leave them :) I know it is hard on you now but it shows they will be ready to leave with you!

Happy Father's Day Chris!!!!

Cute picture on the potties.

Sounds like great bonding to me and I also LOVE that potty picture. It will be fun to show that to their future girlfriends/boyfriends!

Hi Jessica and Chris, I, too, love the pictures, and you are right about not having nearly as badly as the poor, precious little ones that don't have a mom and dad. It is so frustrating at times for people like myself who are trying to get to those little ones, but continue to hit one road block after another. Of course, I haven't even finished my own sentence before I tell myself to trust God's timing. I do trust His timing, but I still can't help but hurt for those precious little ones.
On a brighter note, I'm glad to hear how attached your children are to you now. A miracle that only time, love, sweat and tears have brought to be. What absolutely lovely pictures!!!

Aidan's appetite will pick up once you get him back to the States. Nothing like a McDonalds chicken nugget kids meal to spike the appetite!
