Chris: Well, today we had the biggest day so far as we went to court at 4pm. We spent about 30 minutes in court and then waited for about an hour and 10 minutes for the verdict. It was of course yes, and we could not be more happy!!! We did not have to field any questions from anyone! I guess our speeches must have included the “nitty gritty” needed to surpass all the court lingo? We are ecstatic and the 15 day “waiting period” officially started today, so the 15 days will end on Wednesday, July 8. WOO HOO and thank you everyone who has been sending so many prayers our way. There are so many of you whom we cannot thank enough and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts! We are tired and mentally drained but ecstatic that everything went so well.
We are still struggling with some in country issues that we ask you to all pray about. However, it appears that we are over the half way point and that is a relief.
We enjoyed dinner tonight at one of the caregiver’s home. We had the traditional five fingers Kazakh dish but with beef and not horse meat. We had salad (cucumbers, tomatoes, bell peppers), seaweed salad, and homemade fried bread. It was by far the best meal we have eaten here! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and learned about traditional Kazakh culture. What a way to celebrate the heritage of our children!

I had no doubt he would say yes! Praying for the issues that need to be resolved to be done so soon. Congratulations to your new little family! Just settle in and take in more of that Kaz culture for your children. July will be here soon!
We are so happy for you guys and will keep praying for you. I know you all are relieved. Your pictures together portray a very happy family of four. God bless!
Like someone already said, congratulations seems too small a word, but know that we can really clearly remember the feeling, and from that place we say congratulations!
You guys are doing so great, at least from what we can see. If you are interested to talk or even just download some of the in-country stuff that you are working through send us an email. We had some really hard days, too. Days where we didn't want to be given solutions or have things dismissed. We just wanted someone to hear and understand, and we are here if that is what you need.
Hope you enjoyed the Kazakh meal. You guys are so much more Kazakh than we are.
Congratulations! You all look so happy.
Just wanted to say congratulations and you are 4 very lucky people to have each other.
I hope the next two weeks fly by.
